2 cups self raising flour1 cup sugar2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa2 tablespoons melted margarine or butter1 cup milk2 large eggs (or 3 small eggs)Vanilla essence
Directions
Prepare a 23cm (9") round or square cake tin with grease proof paper.Preheat oven to 180C (350F).Add dry ingredients in a bowl and give a quick mix.Add the rest of ingredients and beat until smooth (about 2 minutes).Pour into prepared cake tin, place in oven for 40 minutes.Remove from oven, let cool for 5 to 10 minutes before removing from cake tin, let cool on rack.It's rough, but its ready!If you wish to ice the cake, or add cream, see Frosty Icing and Butter Cream under "Icings and Creams".Enjoy :-)
