How does one know if they are in love?
Are there a set of signs sent from above?
If there are then what can they be?
Are they signs that we feel or signs that we see?
Are you in love when you can’t eat or sleep?
When the thought of his touch makes your knees go weak?
When he’s all you can think about all the day through?
Dreaming of making some fantasies come true?
When all you can see is his face in your mind,
Is this what they mean when they say love is blind?
Does this mean you’re in love or under a spell?
Is it real or illusion and how can one tell?
Have you been in love? How did you know?
Was it love at first sight or did the love grow?
And was this love returned in kind?
Were you courted, wined and dined?
Or did this person break you r heart,
And end this romance before its start?
Either way, how does one define?
What constitutes a love divine?
Is it quickened heartbeats and sweaty palms?
And dreams of being in his arms?
Must love be returned for it to be real?
Can love unrequited survive an appeal?
Is there a difference between love and lust?
To answer these questions somehow I must.

Steel is my outer armor towrds love,
you bring up great questions in a good manner, i think trust is more important than love. |

Lots and lots of questions we all have pondered, I sure. Some times the answers come when we least expect them. Peace, Laura |
