FOR MY NAMESAKE

Topic: Dedicated

SultryRose's Signatures

Momed named me
after her oldest sister
She was 90 they say.
Living a holy life
but yesturday she died.

For my name sake
strong, so wise.
you'll see no tears
in my eyes.
repeat.

She out lived all
but one brother
he certainly soon
to say good bye.
How can I weep for
their rest as they
lived life,
their best.

Her life wasn't always
rosey, I'm sure
a good person,
to meet others
gone on
new angels singing
Heavens song.

Yet the tears blind my eyes.

To feel the pain of loss of one so prescious. Age makes no difference, loved ones are missed no matter what the age.
