life...explained

Contributed by unluckicharmz on Sunday, 3rd July 2005 @ 12:42:05 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

life is so messed up
with all its twists and turns
and no matter how many twists i go through
im never ready for the next
so im constantly having to pick myself upand try again
and it starts to hurt my integrity
and it lowers my self esteem
sometimes i just get so mad
and i throw in the towel for awhile
behind the grayness in my eyes i know i can do it
but theres that twinge of fear
that ill fail just like everything else i do
am i not ready for the world?
or is it not ready for me?
so i sit in my thoughts
they keep me so down
i dont know how i keep going
i dont know everything at all
my smiles fades into the black
and im falling to the ground
i can do it, i know i can
but its gonna take some time being down

god, this hit the bone.....
it is very true, and i think most people feel that hopelessness and fear at some point in their lives...
this was a good read. good work.

i really like this poem! It completely describes how i feel towards life; I shae the same views. Though life may get hard and never seem to let up we all must continue to try our best to stay in the game of life.
