I have something to write
Something of substance to say
I have something that might
Just liven up your silly jaded day
Just like you, I live day to day
Just like this story unfolds
I ramble constantly
And without negativity
Often to lengths of absurdity
On various topics
Or their uncertainty
Allow me to expunge
A silly jaded philosophy
This is not about eternity
Or the future of our galaxy
Or the cosmic fireball
Aligned with this solar powered
Spinning gases of human debris
This is about an ending
Finding a venue
The ones your eyes are currently lending
And if anyone should
We should continue
Then I hope it is us
Who will prosper
If anyone should feel my hunger
Then I hope it is us
Who conqueror
Subjugate
And eliminate
A nemesis
A worthy opponent
Sent from the depths
Of an abstract component
I had something to write
But like usual, it just vanished away
Like the ghosts of the illiterate
Or the child famished
Of the monster killer wave
Whose babies’ homes were damaged
Or the terror that has successfully managed
To infiltrate
This silly jaded tirade
Without disparage
So instead
I thank you for joining me
And I hope to God
You won’t wind up dead
Or a little more deranged
Hope you are comfortable
And are in no such pains
That your roofs have held back no such rains
That your life is amazing
And you would be lucky
If it stayed this good
If it could only stay this same

Well I don't think your thoughts vanished! I think you got your point across quite well!! (As per usual...) Great write jyss...I don't know how you do it time and time again, but I'm sure glad you do...
