Her place is in between houses...
On a tiny slab of concrete...
She sits and watches the sun reflect
on the grass blades.
She feels a familiar feeling of
darkness wash over her.
Her life is an ocean...
Dark and lonely...
Mysterious and lovely...
She closes her eyes and savors the pressure...
As it presses into her fragile body...
She's lost in a feeling of helplessness...
Travelling blindly in whichever direction...
The waves take her.
She cowars from compassion...
And feels comfortable in isolation...
She's not sure where her heart is...
Because she's lost pieces of it...
In so many different places...
She grows tired in the sunlight...
She grows lonely in the darkness...
But without the sun she'd fade away...
And she finds the darkness romantic.
Right now her place is in between houses...
Where the shadows are captured by the sunlight...
It's like a line between worlds...
Where the roses grow...
And time stands still...
She goes because she knows...
No one will ever find her there.
