Missing You

Topic: dedicatedpoems

With all the poems I ever wrote
And all the words passed through my throat
I never knew just what to say
To put my love out on display
I still don’t know, and yet I try
These few words I do supply
I miss you more then I can stand
I want so bad to hold your hand
On TV I see them kiss
I start to cry and not in bliss
The tips of his fingers touch her face
And I remember your embrace
I want your thumb to rub my cheek
Your kisses make my knees go weak
I want to lie next to you all night long
Not to lose my innocence, just to belong
Wrong you did but I believe
So a second chance you receive
But on the fourth I know I’ll sigh
Remembering last year may make me cry
I want you here to watch the stars
And make a memory that’s only ours
I’m not sure I voiced what I feel in my heart
But I tried my best, I did my part
Now I wonder if you’ll see
My love is to this huge degree
I LOVE YOU – from Monique Marie

Excellent write. I really like your style of writing and i think you did a great job. your words give a very clear picture of what you are trying to say. If this is the first poem you have written in a while i think you did a fantastic job so keep up the great work.

Kind Regards Tara

I absolutely adored your rhyme scheme. I felt like I was tapping from one line to the next. I think you not only made a strong point on missing someone, I also think you did it with a unique flair.
