twinkling in the moonlight
but the stars fade away
new to me as the sea once was
never hearing the brisky bay
terrorized by the thought
of fading far in time
losing the world that was you
but never really mine
capturing a heart now dead
what now shall i do
without the world next to me
the world that once was you
dont dry my tears with your hands
they are so very cold
you! in your wretched sceme
to dream up the old
hear my plight i now shall fade
with the stars that once were bright
but now as my world is gone
so is my saving light
