(and your friend's got a knife at your back?)

| When it happens to me I thank God that I have an upperhand on my life and so does God. All great things have a good and a bad side. Most of the bad sides are MISTAKES or accidental. Most likely those greeting cards are the way the people who emailed you are expressing themselves to you |

Vivid and revealing. I think everyone has faced a point in their lives when this is the case. I like the way you not only take the common "when it's not all roses" idea and puncuate it with the "and what about the thorns". It seems to give it a deeper, more succinct meaning.
Nice communication and thought, though I have a little bit of difficulty finding the rhythm.
Keep up the good work.
