I Died in Her Arms

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Saturday, 2nd July 2005 @ 04:33:18 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I died in her arms
She brought me back

With one kiss
It turned my cheeks a

Rosie shade of red
As if she became

A part of me
That is with me always

That other can see
When I smile and blush

She makes me happiest
Everyone can tell

They all know she is
The only reason

I feel the way I do
And the only reason

That I am the way I am
Is because of her love for me

I do so love to love her
It is so sweet and kind

And pure, truthful
So very honest and hopeless

I had everything I wanted
But still wanted to die so

I did die in her arms
I was able to see

Her soul
When mine was set free

I did die in her arms
But came back because

How she loves
Is the only reason

One could ever need to come back
And to never want to leave

But I did want to die so that
And do so over and over and over again

For the same reason as the first time
I had to get her to kiss me

Maybe all I had to do was ask?
But it was and still is worth it
