Every Move

Contributed by sprinter27 on Friday, 1st July 2005 @ 09:16:27 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Every move I make
Is always a mistake
Anything I ever do
Is always wrong to you

When I talk or move
You always disapprove
It is like you are like me,
Wishing I wouldn’t be

Do not worry, I wish I was dead, too
It is not only you!
I pray every day
For death to come my way

Praying to die
Is my way to cry
My way to cut with the knife
My way to fight the strife

I know you like it this way
Me struggling everyday
You like that I want to die
Don’t care that I hurt too much to cry

But when I make any move
Not towards death, you disapprove
You shake your head at me
When I try to believe

You want me to die
You say not to sigh
You say death is the answer
When I try to walk away, you swear

I wonder why I listen to you
Why do I do what you tell me to do?
I should listen to myself,
No one else

So I listen to my head
As I sit in bed
I run towards the ledge
And jump off the edge

All because you disapprove
Of my every move
