A drive of no thinking

Contributed by brew on Friday, 1st July 2005 @ 08:18:10 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

On a lonely road, that brings the wind flowing in the hair as you drive
I love to get in the car and turn the radio on and not think
It gives the mind, time to relax, yet you are still in random thoughts
You fantasize and pretend
Thoughts you would not think if just sitting
The free will of all
Radio blasting, and no cares what so ever
Driving to where ever, you may end up to
Then in the ending of that certain song, on the radio.,,you say .whoa
What road have I taken
A new adventure of the life we live
New places and faces
And fun that will lead to paths never driven

Brew you have the right idea. Get away from it all even if it only for a few hours. Relax and just take things easy. Life is too short to worry about it all. I have lived by this all my life and I am now over seventy five and still going strong. above all keep smiling from bernard.

great poem Brew, except i do that all the time, not wishing to I mean. I suddenly awaken from my spacey dream, and ask, Where in the world am I.
Loved this poem Brew.
I can just see you doing that too!
Warm love
consue
