PERSPECTIVE

A lot of women end up with the men they fall for thinking that they will be able to change what they don’t like about these men and make them more like their ”dream man.” This usually ends up having disastrous results. Men are simply grown up boys who haven’t a clue how to treat women or understand their unique needs or desires. Unless they grew up in a home where they saw a male role model treat their mother with love, dignity and respect, then women who love these men are in for an eventual rude awakening.
A wise woman, before she gives herself wholly to any man, would be well served to look at a man’s background and how his mother was treated by the man or men in her life. Because, usually always, she will be looking at her eventual future as well. As human beings,we are all creatures of habit, of our own upbringing, and our environment. Our minds are like computers. If you only program them with garbage, then how can anything other than garbage result? So, in order for a woman to change a man, she would have to erase his past, and start over reprogramming him from scratch. That’s easier to do with a computer than a human male.
The exception to the above rule would have to be strictly from a man’s own perspective. If he finds his “Pearl Of Great Price” or the right and perfect woman, (A woman just like you honey), and knows she would never consider him as anything more than a friend unless he changes, he may be tempted by love, and not just infatuation, to ask her just what he can do to change, so that she might be pleased enough to consider him as a lover or mate.
Honey, this is exactly what I’m asking you today. What things about me do you wish I would change about myself if you had the power to make me want to (and you do)? If you’ll honestly share those wishes with me, I promise not only to do everything in my power to change those areas, I promise I will accomplish what you wish. Ballet and Opera? Mmmmmmmmm, sure, why not! I love you that much!
