The Midnight Diamonds

I do not
I do not want
I do not want to live this way

I want the midnight diamonds
Inside of my chest to open up
And explode into the day

Midnight diamonds
I am in the tractor beam
Everything is just as it seems
I shoot through stars' inevitable dreams
Oh the Midnight diamonds

Her love
Is like a fleeting sun
Racing to its oblivion
The galaxy can not hold her
If only I had told her
But she was never there
Only in the wanton moon's facial glare

Oh only the midnight diamonds love me
They will open up inside my chest
Heave out a fishgill breath
And perhaps then I will feel the heat pulse

Awesome. What imagery. taking my mind to places i have been before, and its not a nice place, but how real it is. nice one mate.
