scary noises ring through the valley
a mystical chime rings three times and then
lights flickering through gaps in the trees
the big old owl warns the little creatures
darkness draws in as the mist grows deep
hiding away against a thick old oak
my shaking hand wipes my shivery brow
a grizzly sound i hear from around the oak tree
sweat trickles down my face as I fear
the noise gets loud as I slump further down
I can't bare to be here in this place
Fearing something so pleasent displeases me
So I'll stay here under the watchful eye of the owl and the old oak tree.

Joe I am clapping. When I read the title I was expecting something different. Being the nature lovin' tree hugger that I am, I loved the fact the protecting angels here were the owl and the tree. At least that is my interpretation.
I know that I find much solace, much healing in nature. Peace to you. Laura |
