I Sit Here Cold As Stone
I sit here alone
Cold as stone
Sitting here in strife
Waiting for a life
Hidden by a black glove
Wanting a new love
Always in depression
Shadowed by a vacant expression
Never shown enough respect
Like an object of neglect
Like a flower never bloomed
I sit here in silent gloom
I give away my love and attention
And people take it like I’m paying a pension
I sit here
Cold as stone…
