Never Again

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Thursday, 30th June 2005 @ 04:38:35 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Have you ever sat and cried thinking about me
Have the days passed you by, or have they hardly

Dear old friend, it was a swell time spent, no regret
Dear no one I know longer, how have you been lately, I forget

To much sugar in a salad of overloaded tomatoes and red peppers
To much to remember in cold water, blasting, summer, rain showers

I was meant for someone else’s arms, hands and painted red toes
I was led to the place, the scene, and survived, surrounded by my foes

Have you ever stopped, wondered where I was right there and then
Have you ever seen the golden sun misplace then miss the horizon
