Anyone Like You

All throughout my life,
Ive had hard hands among my skin.
I never felt the love most children feel,
Ive only felt lonliness within.

No one raised me but myself,
No one rocked this baby to sleep.
Ive never felt comfort before,
No one held me while I weeped.

God's graced me finally,
He's blessed me with someone new.
I never thought in a million years,
Id ever find someone like you.

The way you kiss me,
The way you hold me tight.
With your warm skin pressed up against mine,
It makes me know everything's gonna be alright.

Your gentleness is soothing,
As you softly call me to bed.
I know when im not with you,
My face clouds your head.

Ive never had anybody miss me,
Ive never had anyone want to be at my side.
I never wanna be away from you,
I couldnt even if I tried.

There's never been a second,
Where I can stop gazing in your eyes so blue.
Ive never had anyone care about me,
There's never been anyone like you.
