Winds Of Time Passing

the candles
they must have burned out
from the winds of time passing

not the fan behind it in the window
I choose not to believe such tangible excuses

there lies deeper possibilities
behind all that is seemingly apparent

as the blades in the fan revolve
so does the hands of a clock

the distance between the flame
and its cessation

is the winds of time
passing in my mind

to think deeper into ones thought
rather then jus a simple explanation
