Living in moments,
One feeling to the next,
Drowning in expectations
And drinking our regrets.
Living for one failure
For one chance,
Living for a moment,
That will change
our existence.
Dizzy from the words,
From the touch
And from the feel,
Dizzy .
Drunk.
Off each moment’s death appeal.
How we survive each statement,
Each hit to the heart.
How we live though the tears,
That never got a chance to start.
As we inhale each second
As if it were our drug,
Holding on to everything
Until the next moment’s dug.
We live in moments,
One feeling to the next.
Reaching for expectations
And veering off regrets.
Hoping for that one moment,
That one breath,
The one second,
That one role,
That will make all the moments lived
A life in whole.
