I cried tears for you

Contributed by nhisname2005 on Wednesday, 29th June 2005 @ 08:12:04 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I cried tears for you,
I got mad when they said those things,
Inside of me got angry,
I wanted to have my way,
Tell them what I thought,
Hurt them in some way,
Then I came to my senses,
I got down on my knees and prayed.

Father forgive them,
Please forgive me to,
Sometimes I just don't know what to do,
You don't need any protection,
Or any kind of shield,
I just have to remember,
To only do your will.

How can they write your name and then act in a bad way,
I speak to them and what comes out of their mouth,
Is what your words had to say.
Watch out for sheep that is in wolf's clothing.
All I feel inside is what we call mourning.

I weep for them
But mostly for you,
Because I know all you want to do is love them,
And make their dreams come true.
I wiped my tears that had fallen,
Until another day.
When I have to hear stand and take it,
To what others have to say.
