The Densest Wood

I found a path
Through the densest wood
And though I seemed so lost,
It lead me to warmth,
A sun-filled clearing,
And a butterfly lit upon my nose.
"Hello there," I said,
But the force of my breath
Scared it straight away.
A cloud covered the sun,
And a chill hit the breeze,
And I found myself lost again.
