At the mid hour of night, when
My senses dull and my undulating
Thought atrophies into a
Dream, I lie
In my bed.
You come to me, and
Lie beside me, upon my bed.
I'm with you again.
Kisses spill into me like
Rain-- love boundless as the drops
Pour into me, I'm drowning
In it--- I breathe into you
And you into me
Our breath jives as one
Breath. One Life.
I close my eyes and plunge
Myself into your vast embrace.
As I begin to feel
Life ooze back into me again.
Slowly, sumptuously, like cream.
I taste you
Smother myself in you.
Luxurious and warm.
I feel
You I feel
The music of your heavy
Breath upon my neck.
I feel it...
Don't stop!
The pace of our heart quickens.
Lost in its rythm we dance
An erotic---
Dance of the night, the dance
Of the crescent moon.
And I feel
You.
I feel
Beyond the measure of infinity.

| Very well captured. The physical expression of love written with such intensity and passion. I love the way it builds up, the way you compared and described it as a dance. Obviously the person whom you write about completes certain parts of you and makes you feel secure and love. This is the best poem ive read in a while. Well done! |
