Her Smile

Her smile is so beautiful,
I love it so much,
I know everything is right when I see it,
But I can tell something is wrong.

Lately your smile has faded,
And when it returns,
It's a broken smile,
A smile that means nothing,
A smile forever lying.

And I know things get hard,
But your smile is the only thing alive about you,
When you smile that special way,
Everything will get better.

So let me hold you tight,
Let me make you feel alright,
Let me see that gorgeous smile,
And let yourself sleep in my arms.

I never want to see your broken smile again,
All I want to see is you happy,
And I will do anything to make it so,
So please smile truthfully,
And everything will be ok.
