Mercies Right

That which lies beyond the realm of garner
The plight of such creates the quandary soul
Where passion felt, the seasons melt,
Darkness softly weeps for mercies right.
Like fragile wings of swallowtails
Lie days gone by and by the years
Devotion spent, unjustly went
Sorrow sheds a tear for mercies right.
Though never held nor touched nor felt
As chaste endures its lonely path
With honor dealt, yet seldom felt
Emptiness consumes for mercies right.
If ever was a time to rise
If courage met the matron’s eyes
The soul to bare, could not be fair
So ne’er she’ll know his heart for mercies right.
And rightly just for love doth know
To burden for to ease the rue
Should not be done, lest two not one
May end in wanton grief in mercies right.
So God will ease and guide his heart
To love he chose so long ago
With fresh desire and burning fire
As he begins his mourn for mercies right.

Very interesting, it's certainly a poem you have to read a few times, but the investment pays off. Thanks for sharing. |
