The darkness I see,this darkness ain't me;
It poisons my insides,disappears and hides;
I'm not sure if it stays,suspending my ways;
No matter which way I turn,the darkness does burn;
This is not who I am,I am not a dark man;
But some see through what I can't see;
I can't control the fire of my soul;
Does it make me who I am,once again I'm not a dark man;
I'm full of joy and rage,halo or cage;
Who is to say,I fight and I play;
I kick and hug,hate and love;
Love and hate,There's No more Debate.......

I like this made me think for those who know me that is surprising I know
'I can't control the fire of my soul;' sheesh how true that is...

This one never really gets into a flow. The idea is fine buy the rhyming is overdone and never let's itself become poetic. |
