Lets dance in the rain
Because there’s nothing we can do to stop it.
Feel its pressure pound against our skin
As our hearts race against each droplet.
Lets live every second of every storm
As if there’s a rainbow in our view.
C’mon and take my hand,
Lets dance in the rain – just us two.
Let’s explore the sense of freedom that
lives in natures magic,
and if this feeling’s a drug than I’m an addict.
Shoot this feeling up my veins
So that it lingers in my blood,
So that I’ll feel it in my soul
As heaven rains down from up above.
Lets find ourselves between each droplets end,
Even though we’ll lose ourselves
And have to start over again.
No more room for regrets,
Then come on and take my hand,
It’s the only chance you’ll get.

Wonderful! What a playful image it brings to my mind. I can just see the rain coming down and you pulling on my hand and coaxing me out there. I actually makes me regret not playing in the rain with my kids last night. :) Next time!
