I saw you walk into the darkness
With your light so bright
I tried to run away
But the legs wont move
I tried to look away
But the light so hypnotizing
You looked down on me
With such kind eyes
Staring into the void that was my chest
And blood streaming where the heart
once stood firm
I stared in your eyes
And saw a tear of blood
A single tear, so kind, so dark
I began to weep, and fell to my knees
I pounded the earth
With fists so tight
Why I screamed
And there she spoke
With words so kind
Rebuilt my heart, and sealed the void
Stand once more, on your own two feet
For tomorrow is another day
And I am with you
