Those eyes you hold,
(the singers of deep hazel and
a faint blue water)
resound.
The new music of captivation.
And the herald of some
thing new; unseen,
reflects the dew of
your thoughts
glistening at my fingertips.
Just out of reach, as always.
I stay distances,
watching for a time, only
to disengage myself
from thoughts of you.
But the sheets (rustlingsilk)
and the gold (gentlyringing) wrapped around
my finger
on the hand discovering the
richness of your face
boldly hold their own;
foremost in my mind.
I'd love to wake to you.

Wonderfully vivid imagery. The poem is fluid. Great job! |
