We wanted American independence,
We asked for American help,
Now we’re American dependents,
And American whelps!

We used American weapons,
To fight American wars,
To create American ruin,
Rooted on American soils!

We hold American elections,
We wear American clothes,
We accept American notions,
We are American clones!

I absolutely loved this poem. It flows very well the message is right on. Really, really good!
