We Do Belong Together

Contributed by o7neves on Saturday, 25th June 2005 @ 03:56:56 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Who would’ve thought, from day one
That we would have, so much fun?!
I for one, just did not
But it turns out, you make me hot

But that is not, the only thing
It all had blossomed, in the Spring
We clicked well, and quite fast
But time will tell, if we will last

You took a part of me, that no one else has
Not even anyone, from my past
When you’re around, I feel so alive
So by my heart, I shall abide

I wonder how long, I can wait
But I know I’ll do, whatever it takes
While you’re out, fighting a war
I’ll try to have fun, and not be such a bore

This goes out, to you Fredy Dave
While you’re not here, I will behave!

well it's kinda hard for me to comment on this one since I know how this has worked out for you...as a poem though I thought it was wonderful, really heartfelt :)
