Let Me Cut

Contributed by blue_angel on Friday, 24th June 2005 @ 09:27:16 PM in AEST
Topic: self-harmpoetry

Let my blood drip from my wrists
Let the knife slip from my fist
Let me gouge out my own eyes
Let me live then let me die

Let my tears stain my hands
Let me cut because i can
Let me bleed and let me fall
Let me just let go of it all

Let my pain become my life
Let me use my friend the knife
Let me hurt me, let me **** up
Let me scar and let me cut

I know where your coming from. No one who doesnt cut can understand. I have approx 30 scars on each arm and on my chest too. I havent cut for a year and a half, I think I needed it at the time, but today I have to live with these horrible scars and everytime someone notices I have to explain what is the unexplainable to them coz they dont understand. Good luck to you, I hope you wont need to do it one day. xx

how about i let you NOT? give you a good reason? because you are my best friend. and let me say that you never want to drink or smoke but you know damn well that cutting is just as bad (maybe even worse) and just as addictive. please don't cut and/or hurt yourself, jennie! you're my best friend! don't forget that!!!

Good write by the way- keep up the good work!
