Oceans Apart
Words on a screen
filled with emotion.
Two people so far, yet...
their hearts cross an ocean.
Longing to be
more than a bit or a byte.
so they introduce voice
and the words come to life.
Soft subtle tones
burst into laughter.
Our hearts share so much
but...there's more I am after.
Your smile, your face
I wish I could see.
So comes the web cam
and now we're complete.
Completely in love
with the words on the screen
the voice on the mic
and the face that we've seen.
Till the day that we meet,
and declare our devotion
We sit at our keyboards
our hearts crossing oceans...
by R. Wilson 2005
Distance between two hearts is not an obstacle, rather a beautiful reminder of just how strong true love can be ~Unknown~

I think the stats on internet love succeeding are pretty bad, so its nice to hear it working, even if just in a well composed and sweet poem. I'm at the beginning of one myself - lets hope I have your luck.

I wish I could've been there in june...to wish you a joyous summer...and the like-
So here it is... February 2006 and still...
I look on for you-
...eyes pierced out my back window
scanning for a mere flutter of light-
...and when I see it - I still thik of you.
Truly...
