Inscribed In Blood

Inscribed In Blood

The pieces fall together, this struggling puzzle of life
The picture complete is better, then lonely shards of strife

The image so beautiful; centered and secure
The color so vivid, without a chance of fading or becoming impure

The veiw grasping for attention, the sight beaming with power
The ability to show feeling without mention, and giving love without the thorns of a rose flower

The touch of color creating the very essence of meaning
A red so bright, could only come from torn skin bleeding

The lost blood as the ink, and the black rose as the quill
The life as the sacrafice, for the show of love to be fulfilled
. . .
Written in blood, laid the words and the broken soul
"I died for love" - The story so easily told
Of another life - love stole

and how could you think that i might have a slim chance of not liking this. this is one of the first poems ive ever read where i actually saw an image in it, i saw a hand writing with a blackrose. your beginning i loved, your ending i cannot help but keep reading. well done, big bro, im proud of you. ::steals the piece for her own collection:: i might have to get you published instead of myself at this rate =]
