Suicide

Contributed by chantel on Tuesday, 7th January 2003 @ 05:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I wake up to lonliness,
you wonder where did i go.
I walk through the house of sadness,
you really need to know.
I breath the air of forgetfullness,
you see a tear run from my eye.
I drink the water of depretion,
you don't ask but wonder, why?
I eat off the tree of sorrow,
you turn and walk away.
I walk through the door of goodbye,
you turn back and stay.
I look up frm my resting ground,
you sit and cry.
I found a reson to run,
you know hurt becouse i wanted to die.
I now know what i did to you.
Your life goes on all alone.
I put my head down never to look up.
You relize i will never come home.

A powerful right...I love the idea of a "journey" taking place for this character. The "comments" part of this poem caught my eye. "I wrote this the day I die"....very Radioheadesque. I suggest trying some happy things, too, for it is always interesting to see someone in this state write something beautiful. Good luck, and keep spewing those poems
