Cousins, Games, and Ruined Lives

All I did,
Was hang out with you.
I was only ten though,
Too young for what I went through.
I trusted you,
Like a really good cousin,
But nothing would have stopped you,
from bringing me to ruin.
Memories of those dreadful nights,
Of the "games" we used to play,
Fill my every thought,
Cause for your actions I have to pay.
Your weight crushed me,
Even though I wasn't extremely thin.
And though it only "almost" happened twice,
At that game you'd always win.
Whenever you looked into my eyes,
I"d feel a hate unlike any other.
Because my entire life was ruined,
By someone I'd consider my brother.
There were other "games" as well,
Some would hurt, others would scare me.
They all took place inside your room,
A place of secrecy.
Finally something wonderful happened!
You moved and i don't know where to.
I still have to live with the games that we played,
But I don't have to live with you.
Now time's passed, and I'm wiser,
Now, that I know that the guilt's not mine,
I take my life one day at once.
And now, with you gone I'll be just fine

Great write Karis, I enjoy the idea of calling all those things 'games' this poem kind of hurt though, you really loved your cousin.. but at the same time it was inspirational, you just gotta pick up your things and keep moving... great write...
