Voices Across The Water

Contributed by xXx_Fem_Fatale_xXx on Friday, 24th June 2005 @ 01:51:22 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Voices across the water
Minds exchanging thoughts
About life and times
Plotting a story,
A plan in due time

Mutual trust and respect
A dear friend for eternity
Writing about the sweet little nothings
So meaningless to others
But oh so encouraging to us

Written words appear on our screens
Lines of poetry, music to our eyes
Telling us about our personal self
So open and frankly, they tell us all
This voice across the water,
I will hold dear forever.....

~~Nats~~

What words can I put here to express my emotion at reading this nat ?.Certainly whatever I put will not seem to say enough, but from the bottom of my heart I thank you.
To me a true friend is always worth more than any riches in the world......the most precious gift you can give.
I feel truly blessed

Steve

That is an amazing write, Nats. Perfect words for a perfect friendship.

And you say, “You don’t know me at all” ;-}

Your poem clearly, with brilliance, shows we can know a part of who you are through your mastering of your gifted words

My favorite words in this one where you do tell us we can know you through your gift, your brilliant poems:

Written words appear on our screens
Lines of poetry, music to our eyes
Telling us about our personal self
So open and frankly, they tell us all
This voice across the water,
I will hold dear forever.....”

You seem to still carry the pure innocence from your childhood, the kind heart of children, into your adulthood. That is another perfect and wonderful gift in itself. So many of us lose that when we grow up. You haven't. Never change! Your talent is awesome.

And your friend says it best and he clearly knows: “ a true friend is always worth more than any riches in the world......the most precious gift you can give.”

Yes the most precious you can give is yourself. You are all brilliant.

Huggs,

Tim
:)
