Suddenly.
As it approached my thoughts through the midnight sky

I felt the darkness subside from memory
All the lonely feelings scatter off and slowly die

So suddenly,
It came to me as from a crystal dream

I can't tell if this is real or not
Things aren't always what they seem

Fortitude.
There is comfort in your face.

All I have to do tonight is breathe.
And leave this wonderfully awful place.

I lost control of you.
And your eyes gleam like fireflies in the night.

I turn away from all the things I cherish.
I burn for you without any light.

No one deserves from me an answer.
And no one deserves to stare.

But everyone takes from me.
And then they take and leave me there.

It seems I have so much time to waste.
But I'm searching for an end.

It could end up being happy,
But I don't expect for I haven't even started to begin.
