There were walls...
On every side...
No doors...
No windows...
No vents of which we might have squeezed through.
There was no way out.
Four adults...
Women?
Men?
Who knows...
They closed us in a dark room and sent something on us...
It was too dark to see
what it was.
Screaming...
It was terrible...
I huddled into a corner...
Where no one could find me...
I could feel warm breath on my face...
I closed my eyes...
And pretended to be somewhere else...
Somewhere far away...
It'll all be over soon...
I hear them say...
It'll all be over soon.....

Very nice... It gave a sense of doom, but also.. happiness.. that it was finally over.. all the pain... all the suffering.. Very good imagery.. And you were also very good at suming up the feeling... Again Well done! I would like to see more of your poetry...
