You and me in many ways are so alike,
but this is no reason to challenge me;
believe me, you are near your 3rd strike.
...................
YOU'RE OUT! of your mind when you let your frustration take all control of the way you know I should be treated!
I know you're only trying to be heard, but fight me like this and you Will be defeated!
Believe me honey, you are NOT being ignored!
I have not closed my ears & my eyes to you yet!
But keep up these outbursts & your worst enemy you will have promised to have met!
That monster inside you; that struggles night & day to get out,
so confused, so ashamed, so naive, his exit he struggles again, to find what it's all about!
We All have our monsters inside! that struggle to break free!
You will have found what you are looking for; your answer, once you open those doors & let your monster out, for himself to see.
This is ALL just about the REAL world, & for most of us, the only LIFE we will ever know!
TRUST ME, once you reach that point in your life that you've dreamed about, you'll find it was more of a disappointment, for the lack of glory you'll find, there in the rain, sleet & snow!
It's getting past this point that matters at all in this simple life we lead!
& being able to get back up on that horse & riding off into the sunset on your valiant steed!
You can choose to walk down whatever path you please in your life, but don't think for a second you are going to keep infringing upon the path I've chosen in mine!
I've already let my ***** monster out! then with tears running down my swollen red cheeks, I broke his ***** SPINE!
What anyone tells you is only rumor until you do it for yourself!
You know I understand that!
But take your own advice & learn from others & their many mistakes, instead of laying down your welcome mat!
You know I'll ALWAYS love you! But there is only so much I can tolerate!,
before you've overstepped yourself & nothing then from me will you receive.
Don't do as I did; take My advice, don't push people away to see how far they will go before they leave!....
Only keeping them at arms length, until they slip from your fingertips!
Then you watch, all you've had in your life disappear! & your heart, apart it rips!
This is NO competition! with me like a game!
You can believe it will bring your no fame!
Your biggest challenge lies within yourself! Once you conquer that monster inside,
you will be dealing with only truth in your life & from nothing then, will you be denied!

| cool poem, alot of poems here project a great understanding of life and I enjoy hearing peoples word especially when you can learn from them. |
