Getting Through This...

Getting through this...

What is this? How does one get through this?
Is this not life? How would one get through life? As if a swing of a bat & the sound of a crack from the ball opens a door...
what if the ball sent flying was a swing & a miss?

Do you not take each moment & breath seriously?
Are you fully awake to the depth this has gone? Or do your hands graze the surface in pitch darkness, as you stumble around deliriously?

Can you honestly say that you know how this feels?
Like a fresh fruit quivering & ripe, aches to be plucked & its' skin to be ripped off like that of fresh orange peels.

Will you know what to do when you come to that fork & which path you will choose?
Will you know in your heart the right path? Or do you pray for the clues?

How much proof do you need? How much proof do you not?
Can you relate to any of this? and have any of these battles you similarly fought?

Will you know the right words to scream aloud, to wake them from this ongoing nightmare?
Or frozen like a vampire who has just seen the light, breaks into a thousand pieces & falls to the ground; just stand there and stare.?

Are you brave & willing enough to accept these true facts?
Or from the mist of your breath & numbness of hands, will you stand stiff like a coat, that is clung to its racks.?

Will they feel free & relieved to get through?
Can you say yes & know that it's 100% Honestly true!?!

Are you just guessing your next approach?
Or do you have a game plan to win this, like a good Yankees coach?

Do you know how to be fair & stern when you need?
With 5 problems all just as GRAND, will you know which mouth first you must feed?

Can & Do you believe this can happen to you?
Do you honestly feel this is something you can get through?

Can you bear ALL this weight heaped upon your back?
& Can you climb these steep mountains, with endless determination & without swerving off track?

Will you feel the same when the outcome has been done?
Or will you feel frightened & hustle for shelter & shade from the heat of the sun?

Would you still say you're better apart, for the sake of survival & them getting through this...?...

Or if you could take it all back; all you have said, to ask yourself this now, or pray for one miracle to start this all over again, with one last faithful wish?...

What then, for would you wish?

Will then you choose to stand at the tip of the great ocean, with your reel & your bait, casting away,

HOPING YOU WILL CATCH THE RIGHT FISH?
What is this? How will you help one to pull strength out of the water, & land on their feet -- when fighting many endless rapids, when getting through this!?...

It's a lil boring and drawn out. try getting straight to the point in your poems
