The Gulf of Mexico, circa 2005.
I walk along the edge of the water, watching the tides sway in and out,
a confused hand sweeping the dust of my love.
I think of you; the gulls spring and settle dusk beneath their wings,
the stars fold and sting their bright escape over the oceans face.
The sea is my poetry, the sky my lost embrace. I write the ebb and swell, your bosom breathes, I increase, write the rush and flow, your fingers press.
The sea is my poetry, you are the depths of the deepest sea, the deepest star that sets its breath over a stormy sea.

An awesome piece, my friend.
