You My Friend

My friend never lose hope
You will make it, you can cope
If you need I will be by your side
We can both go along for the ride.
Don't shut me out like you do
When you do, who do you turn to?
I won't laugh at you, I will take your hand
Together safely we will surely land.
And if life once again gets too rough
On you I won't be so tough
We will then fly very high
So that neither one of us has reason to sigh.
To me I hope you'll do the same
To help me through times of pain
And also together for the times of fun
Walking with view of the sun.
