Walked into the dark eery cave,
Thinking that life was suppose to be lived in there,
The walls moved from side to side,
Spooks were within,
Slapping me and telling me,
I am no good.
Yelling and screaming I should be good.
I ran down the dark coridor,
The walls closed in on me,
My feet tangled in the moss on the floor,
There was a monster beside me.
I saw a light at the end of the tunnel,
I ran as fast as I could,
Then all of a sudden.
I was outside of that cave,
On solid ground I stood,
Didn't know the reason then,
But now it was understood.
Does everyone walk in the dark cave of life,
Do they not understand,
That there is life on the outside of the cave,
A place of sunshine,
A place of beautiful colors of a rainbow,
The fresh air that one can breath and move about in freedom,
Birds singing in their nests,
Stars shine up in the darkest of nights.
Peace, relaxing feelings,
Tingles at the toes,
that move up your body.
Heaven knows.
