How can we say goodbye, when you’re already gone?
I never asked your name, do I really know you?
I ask myself so many questions as I wait in the corner of my room.
Been waiting for you here, all week now.
Nothing here but my own shadow,
And the reflection of this broken man.
Tell me you’re not gone,
And I’ll sleep away the dawn.
I can’t seem to find you in this cloudy haze.
Girl, I wish I could sleep these days away.
Maybe then I can have the energy to wake up.
And you only you know what I mean,
Only you know what need in this cold world.
We’re all looking for answers,
But not me, I found my own truth in you.
Tell me you’re not gone,
And I’ll sleep away the dawn.
And wake up to find you holding my hand.
I’m tired of looking throughout this land.
Too many tiring days here,
What are we going to do, my dear?
All these detours in the road are blocking my path.
We’ll run away leave this world and it’s wrath.
Take my hand, all we’ll fly out in space.
Maybe someday we can drop out of this race.
Until then, I wait for you in the dark corners of my mind.
