"You're beautiful and unique"
said the person after a moment.
He though he was looking behind the face,
He thought he could nearly feel her heart beat.
She sat and looked at her feet.
"You like to think you've touched it, but not yet understood"
And that gave him reason to put her up there.
She saw him look up high, above her words,
She saw him looking at her spirit's path
But she felt smaller than ever, she had to laugh.
"The sun would go down without your smile"
And he thought she could drown him in one tera.
Strange her flaw was the cause of his perfect view,
Strange when behind the face they were waiting to fall.
She was scared that he believed in what he saw.
"You hide in your flaws to be excused"
And then they stopped searching, after a moment more thought.
They'd understood it now, but not really touched it,
They'd talked without words so that now they knew,
Inside out; the perfect view.
