a moment in time that flowed with the sea
wondering if you are what you wanted to be
crashing waves that drown the past
fading off, did it ever really last
could you hear those subtle words
choosing to hate and not hearing the turns
but you never said what was in your heart
but i see it in your eyes and your art
how the pencil created something more
than a picture hanging on your door
how your hand spouted something so fine
in the drawing your heart is not mine
i can feel what you felt as i looked at the face
of the boy and the girl in the star dropped space
and at that moment in time i knew
my heart didnt ever belong to you

This a very powerful poem.. With a very powerful meaning.... It is about trying to find out who you are... I think that is something we can all relate to at one time or another. |

Wow, emotional. Nice expression. What a harsh realization...how lonely. |
