if i decide not to go no where else, i'm hoping i can still carry my notebook
my red notebook full of poems and the notebook i almost got caught writing in class and being that
it was something that was going to be took
if i decide to leave my world and misery behind, i'm hoping to still have my pride
the pride that had gave me strength through my worse and most differcult times
the pride that was with me,when i had been in the bathroom with lights off and cried
if i decide to runaway from the anger i caused in my home, would i be better off alone?
if i decide to go off into space, i 'm hoping i can take my energy
the energy that helped me fight through my battles and the energy that gave me power not to lose sight of me
if i decide to walk out of someones life, i hope to take my dignity
the dignity to move forward with myself and to go on to better and new things to see
if i decide to give up now, i'm hoping to realize what i have began to lose
i'm hoping to get up and don't look puzzled and confused
if i decide to look in the mirror , i 'm hoping to realize who i am and my actions
i'm hoping i can still see that strong person that lies inside of me
i'm hoping that i can see my pains, struggles and all , but mostly
i have to see me
the real me
my reflection

Sometimes that's all you have, and it's one of the best things to have. It's rare that someone can look at themselves the way you do; despite the negative parts of life you stay positive in the sense that you look at yourself, and life, and see not just what has been done to you, but what it has done FOR you. Good for you. Stay proud.

Oh, and ABOUT the poem, great composition. :)

This is a strong, emotionally honest piece. I like the fact that you're not sure of the outcome, but are still willing to push ahead...A very brave move right there---no need to doubt yourself. You obviously have great strength of character. The questions, the uncertainty, and your heartfelt emotions are all laid out excellently in this write...Good job!
Scorp.
