a pint is all i need
another pint and i`ll be freed
from the life of many a sorrow
a pint to will see me through till tomorrow
so i can stumble home instead of walking
i want to slur my words im fed up of talking
i mean no one seems to listen these days
no discussion of politics just down your beer and score the lays
no need to try they slide with ease
the pint drifts down swiftly like a summer breeze
and as i watch the barman poor the pint
a bag of pork scratchens now there my true delight!

Oh yes; I can relate to this!! lol I think you did really well with this write---you drove the point home without a lot of hoopla. There's some good rhyming, which gave it a nice, steady flow...Nice write and Cheers!!!!

Now that's exactly what I need! I love pork scratchings too problem is I gotta suck 'em to death first or they hurt my teeth!
A nice light hearted write well done.
