An answer in a puddle of rain
admission of a guilty pain
Questions stacked high collecting dust
a heart continuously ignored starts to rust
One step forward leads to three steps back
want to fill this void and receive what I lack
One plus one equals two
but where are you ?
Procrastination is just another word for delay
the empty feelings you have; it needn't be this way
I want to make a move, but need you by my side
why can't you just give in and drop your foolish pride?
I won't stick around waiting for answers I'll never receive
if you can't give me what I need I'll have no choice
but
to
LEAVE.

Wow this was a strong write. Very well written and worded and flows so well. There is a lot of emotions in this write and it is hard when your life turns this way. Pride is hard for some to get over I know I got a lot of it myself. Take care and keep up the good writes….Steve |

I like it Scorp. You might say a modern version of either _____ or get off the pot. :)The poem is succinct and to the point. A great title.
Well done Scorp

Oh my dear! Is this the same person you speak of now? I enjoyed reading this, it gave me some insight into your pain. It was well written, and that is a clever title!
Smiles and blessings. |
